I'm intersted in using available effects pedals to alter the overall waveform of the electric violins sound. In short, making it sound like a different instrument. The waveform the violin makes is rather jagged while say a french horn is smoother with less overtones. Is there a way to "smooth" out the violins waveform such that it can sound more "horn" like?
