May I present myself ...

My name is Uli Bösking. I have been freelance (electric) violinist, violist and violin teacher for 20 years, now I'm highschool teacher (music & spanish) in Bremen, Germany.

I'm still composing & performing:

and directing exceptional school projects for electric bowed strings:

Together with audio technician Manfred Reckmeyer (Bremen) I have developed an electromagnetic pickup system for violin, viola, cello & doublebass:

In the 80ies I started playing electrically:

I had an exceptional rockband (voc/vln, vla, b, dr) called "Virulent Violins" for which I wrote songs implying dodecaphonic techniques (1989 LP/CD "Red and blue"):

In the 90ies I worked with Blaine Reininger of Tuxedomoon:

and started a "Jazz neolatino" project called "Mozos Molones"

I often worked as stage musician in theatre plays - one of my favourite was "The Black Rider" (1996 / 97, Junges Theater, Bremen, Germany).

When I have some spare time, I'm setting "strange" expressionist & contemporary poetry to music for my Duo "DosUlises" with classical guitar virtuoso Ralf Benesch.

Welcome Uli, great to see
