I'm looking at getting a cheap electric, and my choices are down to the sojing (which I have read a lot of negative things about) or the ViolinSmart "Solid Wood Black Crescent Shape Electric Violin" found here: http://violinsmart.com/sowocrshelvi.html

Now maybe I caaan work with the sojing if the violinsmart isn't worth twice the price (but then shipping will kill me, maybe worth more than the actual guitar, I live in the Philippines)

Now I'm not really looking into anything sreious right now, I;m in high school and it's just for fun.

So, does anyone have experience with the ViolinSmart (or even both the sojing and violinsmart)?
