Hey everyone. im new here.

Basically i want to start playing an instrument and would love to start on the electric violin.
A few years ago a played on a acoustic violin, but then quit. sadly a few years later i reallised i was taught by a fraud who taught me a few very wrong things so my knowledge on the violin isnt good.

Anyway, the thing is im in a very tight financial position. I have hardly any money at all at the moment to spend alot on an instrument. my budget has to be under 100 USD dollors. I know this is very very bad.

Ive seen quite a few electric violins on ebay (those big S shaped ones) that seem to be ok.
I was just wondering, are they going to be really that terrible if i buy them? Will the sound be really that awfull compared to a $1000 dollor one? Will they literally fall to pieces?

I would just like to start somewhere, and those seem the best option. Alot of people might say its worth the investment to buy a more expensove one but i simply do not have the money.
