Fidelius
Fidelius violins are designed and built by luthier Ulrich Schwabe. He has been building his fiddles in England for 16 years, but now moved back to Leipzig, Germany.
Combining ceramic technology with traditional instrument making, Fidelius provides a robust, sturdy, high performance electric violin, which suits all needs of the professional musician.
All Fidelius instruments are constructed with a solid poplar frame laminated with walnut as standard. This gives a superior strength and rigidity whilst retaining lightness and ease of playability.
Ulrich Schwabe developed his own type of transducer, which provides great warmth, clarity and sound quality. This transducer does not need pre-amplification.
Fidelius offers a range of 4 and 5 string electric violins and violas.
