The Bowtronics violin transducer is a single coil type hum-bucking pickup. The frequency range is very smooth without the need for extensive equalization that is usually needed with the transducer types. Problems of feed-back are eliminated, even at higher volumes. A low impedance version is also available. It has an external preamp that can be clipped to a belt, and provides higher performance in both volume and clarity. The Bowtronics violin pickups mount easilly and quickly at the end of the fingerboard.
